is published every Wednesday by Spartan Printing & Advertising Ltd., 101 Marsh Drive, Quesnel, B.C., V2J 3K3. Non-profit ‘for sale’, ‘wanted’, and ‘trade’ advertisements may be inserted in the word classified sections of this publication free of charge (except ads offering employment services, feed, food, fuel, real estate, professional services, rentals, puppies and registered animals).

Full Page Only: Regular price for the first insertion, 20% off subsequent insertions if there is no copy change

Term Contracts: (Advance sign-up)

13 weeks - 5% Discount
26 weeks - 7.5% Discount
52 weeks - 10% Discount
Floating Block Ad - (Minimum 26 weeks) $10/week

Registered non-profit organization: Full price for the first insertion, half-price for the second & third insertions (no copy change) on ads ¼ page or larger.

Repeat insertion Discount: (On ads ⅛ page or larger): Full price for the first insertion; 10% discount for up to three consecutive insertions If there is no copy change.

Discount are only in effect for account paid by the last day of the month following statement date.

Display Ad Cancellation

Display ads completed by the Bargain Hunter production department, but then cancelled before a first insertion, will be subject to a composing charge of 20% of the insertion rate.

Rates & General Info

The Quesnel Bargain Hunter reserves the right to determine page location and to revise, edit or reject any advertisement. Claims of errors to advertisements must be received by our office within 30 days after the first publication.

It is agreed by the advertiser requesting space that the liability of The Quesnel Bargain Hunter, in the event of an error in published advertisement, shall be limited to to the amount paid by the advertiser for one incorrect insertion or for the portion of the incorrect or omitted item only, and that there shall be no liability in any event greater than the amount paid for such advertisement.

In the event of a typographical error-advertising goods and services at a wrong price - such as items need not be sold at the advertised price. Advertising is merely an offer to sell. The offer may be with-drawn at any time.

Advertising in the Bargain Hunter

Picture Classified Ads

(Customer to supply photo) $8.00 for the first insertion, $5.00 each subsequent insertion placed within three months. If the ad is a paid classified, regular charges of 25¢ per word also apply.

Floating Block Ads

$13 per insertion. (1 column wide x 1.75" high). An excellent way to advertise your products or services anywhere in the Bargain Hunter!

Business Card Special

Size: 1/10 page. $20.00 per insertion, to run every week or every second week; for a minimum of seven insertions, with No Copy Change.

Front Page Bottom Banner

A Flat Rate of $85 per insertion including color, no discount on repeat insertions. Color highlighting will be placed at the discretion of the Bargain Hunter composing staff.

Word Classified Ads

25¢ per word ($3.00 minimum charge per ad insertion) Add $2.00 per insertion if up to the first line is to be printed in bold. Add $5.00 per insertion (regardless of the number of lines) if the classified ad is to be highlighted with a background grey tint.
